Community Strategy 2018-2030

Healthy, Prosperous and Connected

Since establishing Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd (CCG) back in 2010, we have been a housing association with a clear focus on our customers and communities, and we are very proud of what we have achieved so far.

This strategy sets out our community vision and values, priorities and our long-term commitment to making a difference in the communities we serve.

Our work will be focused around 5 key themes;

Employment and Skills

Increase skills, training and employment locally by ensuring the best economic opportunities for our tenants through work experience, work placements, volunteering and apprenticeships and through our working contracts and various projects.

Health and Wellbeing

We will improve the health and wellbeing of our tenants by providing suitable housing and by working in partnership with others to reduce pressure on our health services through prevention and early intervention.

Environment

We will make sure our neighbourhoods are places to be proud of, by ensuring a clean, tidy environment and effectively managing our land and assets for the benefit of the community. The natural environment is of great importance to Gwynedd residents and CCG is fully committed to protecting it.

Crime and Safety

To ensure our communities remain safe places to live, we will effectively manage our estates, dealing with crime and working in partnership with others on early intervention and harm reduction.

Culture, Heritage and Health

We will promote Culture, Heritage and Language as a medium for support and engagement. At all times, we will champion the Welsh Language and culture within our communities.
